CD Favours and {Gifts} for Guests

When looking out for special gift ideas, a custom playlist of favourite nasheeds and qiraat makes for a thoughtful token that’s sure to linger on in aural enjoyment.

Perfect for wedding favours, baby announcements and Eid gifting, it takes little more than a bit of niQi paper patisserie to transform a cd’s jewel case into a contemporary piece of objet d’art.

For this Eid gifting commission, Naqiyah used ribbon from her Eid 2013 range and a fresh celebratory palette.

For these birth announcement favours for a baby boy, Naqiyah went with hues of brown and baby blue accented with gold highlights.

Always the practical and frugal crafter, Naqiyah used the paper leftover from this project to create boxes of gifting ephemera as guest favours at a ladies meet.

Each box included items one could use to add instant glam to a package; tags, ribbon, ready-printed sentiments, crystal embellishments and tissue paper. And because one never needs a reason for chocolate, she even popped in a few from Patchi.

      Thank you Arnaaz.
That was what I hoped that each recipient would do. It also made sense not to waste all the left-over products that I already had, so passing them off as tags was a clever way to upcycle!

Asifa, I’m not sure. The client had provided the list to me.
She had the playlist with her. I’m sure his details, or details of his tracks might be found online.
